1. Introduction

Welcome to Pro Learners Driving School. By booking a lesson or using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. We recommend you read these carefully to understand your rights and obligations.

2. Lesson Requirements & Compliance

• You must hold a current and valid Australian driving licence (Class C) or an equivalent overseas licence, and carry it with you at all times during a lesson.
• You must comply with any special conditions on your licence, such as the wearing of prescribed glasses or contact lenses.
• Mobile phones must be switched off or put on silent prior to entering the training vehicle to avoid distractions.
• You must comply with the instructions or directions of your instructor at all times, before and during a lesson, to ensure safety.

3. Bookings, Punctuality & Cancellations

Lessons must be booked in advance and standard driving lessons are typically one hour in duration, commencing and ending at a pre-determined pick-up/drop-off point.

• You must be ready to commence the lesson 10 minutes prior to the agreed time. If you do not turn up at the agreed time, your instructor will wait 10 minutes, and may deduct this from the total lesson time.
• If you are more than 10 minutes late without notifying us, we reserve the right to cancel the lesson and charge the full lesson fee.
• If you do not attend a lesson (No Show), we reserve the right to charge the full lesson fee.
• You may cancel or reschedule your appointment without charge up to 24 hours before your appointment. Cancellations made less than 24 hours prior will incur a cancellation fee or forfeiture of the full lesson fee.

4. Payments

Payment must be made prior to the commencement of the lesson unless otherwise agreed. We accept cash and bank transfers. Package deals must be paid in full at the start of the first lesson.

5. Instructor Discretion & Refusal of Service

Our instructors are committed to providing a safe, respectful, and harassment-free environment. The instructor has sole discretion as to whether a lesson will commence or continue.

We reserve the right to terminate a lesson immediately if:

• You engage in any behaviour that your instructor determines is reckless, dangerous, or abusive.
• You fail to comply with the instructions or directions of your instructor.
• Your instructor assesses your driving skills and competence and deems you to be medically or physically unfit or unsafe to drive.
• You are under the influence of drugs or alcohol (Zero blood alcohol and drug concentration is strictly enforced).
• You do not maintain a reasonably good standard of hygiene and manners.

6. Acknowledgements & Liability

By participating in our lessons, you acknowledge that:

• Participation in a lesson does not guarantee that you will acquire the necessary skills to pass any driving test.
• Driving a motor vehicle is an inherently risky activity, and there is a risk of significant personal injury or damage to property.
• We do not accept any liability whatsoever for personal property that is left in the training vehicle.
• If you are booking on behalf of a learner, you have made the learner aware of these terms and acknowledgements.

7. Changes to Terms

Pro Learners Driving School reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
